Depending on the application, hot-melt adhesives have the following properties:

Applications
Hot-melt adhesives connect different surfaces such as wood, plastic, rubber and vinyl. They are not only used for construction purposes but also in the packaging industry, bookbinding, the furniture industry and for applying labels to bottles. Depending on the materials to be glued and the construction requirements, there are:
- Low-melt adhesives for heat-sensitive materials: melting temperature of 120°C – 130°C degrees.
- Hot-melt adhesives: melting temperature of 170°C – 200°C degrees
