Properties
Solvent adhesives consist of a solvent with an adhesive substance. When the adhesive is applied, the solvent disappears through evaporation or through absorption by the environment. The adhesive is then released and makes the adhesive join. Solvent adhesives are usually applied to both surfaces which are going to be joined. If the parts are pressed together after a short 'evaporation time ', the adhesive join can be made.
