3M ™ extreme sealing tape 4412n is a white, highly pliable single-sided acrylic tape with a high performance ionomer backing of 2.0 mm thick.

3M ™ Extreme Sealing Tape 4412N is an ideal solution for sealing gutters and mechanical fasteners on the roof of commercial vehicles, eliminating the need for large amounts of liquid sealant.
The tape offers strong adhesion and meets the requirements of all kinds of difficult sealing situations. With single-sided coated tapes, sealing is usually achieved by covering existing joints or holes with tape, as opposed to 'sealing between surfaces' as usually happens with double-sided tapes, gaskets or liquid sealants / adhesives.

The acrylic adhesive used in 3M ™ Extreme Sealing Tape is produced on the same technology platform as 3M ™ VHB ™ Tapes. This pressure sensitive tape offers exceptional performance in tough conditions. The ionomer backing film is very robust, but also flexible and abrasion resistant. It is malleable to provide an effective seal on contours, edges, rivets and screw heads.
The thick acrylic adhesive is very soft, provides excellent sealing and is also very durable outside.

The tape has been specially developed for high adhesion to the ionomer foil, so that an overlapping tape pattern can be created for a strong and effective seal.

This sealing tape creates watertight seals and adheres to a variety of substrates after contact without drying time, drips or the need for cleaning. The tape molds to existing contours, edges, rivets and screw heads.
3M Extreme Sealing Tape can be painted to match the color of the environment and bonds strongly in extreme sun, rain, snow and temperatures.
