Plastic materials are often difficult to bond constructively and invisibly. Whether it succeeds depends on the type of plastic and the technology used. TAPIR offers various solutions for permanently and invisibly bonding plastics together.

Difficult and easy to bond plastics

Whether a plastic is difficult or easy to bond depends on the surface energy of the material. Low-surface plastics – energy, the so-called low-energy plastics are difficult to bond. They offer less grip, as it were. Want to connect different types of plastic together? This is particularly difficult because the expansion coefficient can vary greatly from one material to another. With the new 3M VHB LSE tape, clear progress has now been made.
