Depending on the application, heat resistant tapes are available for temperatures ranging from +80°C up to approx. +230°C. Always consult the technical datasheet for exact limits.

Is aluminium tape heat resistant?

Yes. Aluminium foil and metal foil tapes are generally suitable up to approx. 150°C, and they also provide extra protection against moisture and chemicals.

Can insulation tape handle heat?

Standard insulation tapes from brands such as 3M and tesa typically operate within approx. –10°C to +90°C. For higher temperatures, specialised heat resistant insulation tapes are required.

Do you offer tape that can withstand up to 500°C?

No, most industrial tapes are suitable up to approx. +230°C. For higher temperatures, alternative solutions may be required, such as special coatings or mechanical fasteners.
