3M™ VHB™ Tape 4957F. Is a gray, 1.6 mm thick, adhesive that can be applied at low temperatures to both sides of a deformable acrylic foam core. The 4957F can replace rivets, welds and screws.
It offers great design flexibility due to its viscoelasticity and strong adhesion to various surfaces.
3M™ VHB™ Tape 4957F belongs to the 4951 family of 3M™ VHB™ Tapes. These tapes use an adhesive that can be applied at low temperatures and bonds at temperatures down to 0°C. 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4957F uses a conformable foam for better contact on uneven surfaces. It can be used on various surfaces such as metals, glass and plastics and paints with high surface energy (HSE).
