Transfer tapes
Transfer tapes are used for connecting and laminating materials such as metal, plastic, textiles, leather, glass, ceramics, cardboard and paper. Thin Transfer tape
The very thin 3M TM transfer tapes (0.025 to 0.13 mm) also offer the opportunity of bonding thin materials without significant modifications to the component.
The different adhesive types are visually barely distinguishable from one another, their properties differ according to their chemical composition:
- Pure acrylics Properties: Excellent final adhesive strength, very good aging resistance, high temperature, UV and solvent resistance.
- Modified acrylics Properties: Good adhesive properties, even on low-energy materials (PE, PP), high immediate adhesion, good temperature, UV and solvent resistance, good ageing resistance.
