3M 2262 Multipurpose Contact Adhesive

3M Scotch-Weld Plastic Adhesive 2262 is a non-fading, high-performance plastic adhesive with plasticizer resistance.

3M™ Plastic Adhesive 2262 dries quickly with an open time of approximately 20 minutes. The composite bonds are proven strong and resistant to weathering, water, and sun damage. Furthermore, it bonds well to plastics and vinyl, providing a long-lasting bond and good plasticizer resistance.

Ideal for vinyl and plastic

Plastic Adhesive 2262 bonds to a variety of substrates—primarily leather and most vinyl sheets used in awnings, upholstery, and faux leather—as well as plastics, for a strong, durable bond.

Applying 2262 Adhesive

Whether applied with a brush or roller, applying your 3M™ 2262 Adhesive is a simple process. Start by carefully applying the adhesive to your surface until you have formed a uniform layer. Applying one coat should be sufficient for most surfaces. Some substrates, including porous materials, may require an additional coat. To apply additional adhesive, simply wait until the existing adhesive is dry to the touch and then continue applying the additional coat.
