Renovation complete

A few weeks ago, we began the renovation which has now been completed.

During the first few days, a hole was skilfully dug and a formwork constructed.

The weather wasn't great and the construction workers sometimes had to continue their work under a snow shower.

After erecting the steel structure, we got a better and better idea of how big the construction would actually be.

Sometimes you have those moments when you think how they do it anyway.

Before we knew it, the construction had been made wind and watertight and the first layer of concrete had already been laid inside it.

A few days later in the production room, the underfloor heating was installed by the company Oving and then the top layer was poured.

And then it was literally a matter of waiting for the concrete to dry and harden.

But once it had, we immediately seized the opportunity to set up our machinery and scaffolding, and once that had been done, you can get a sense of how mightily beautiful such an extension can be.

With great pride, we immediately took the opportunity to officially open the extension during a party that was fit for the occasion.

And even if we say so ourselves...it's alright, isn't it?!
